The adults are all busy preparing a meal in the kitchen and chatting with Daisy crawling around nearby and playing with her wooden bricks. And when Mummy started to talk to Daisy, Daisy used baby signing for ‘Eat’! It was the first time that Daisy has responded to us using baby signing. A delightful moment.
There’s often something new to catch up with in current parenting skills. And we’ve been learning and using a few basic baby signs with Daisy since she was a baby and now Daisy is capable of expressing her with signs to go along with her babbling vocal sounds.
